Support Us

The Voices Dance Projet is a federally-incorporated not-for-profit corporation. This means that the project relies on volunteers, self-financing, sponsorships,  and public, corproate and private donations to bring exciting new works to the National Capital Region audience. 

Your support helps us:

• Present groundbreaking contemporary dance works to the National Capital Region community, featuring emerging artists and creators;

• Foster collaboration between artists of a variety of backgrounds, including dance, literature, poetry, music, visual arts, and digital arts; 

• Employ dancers, musicians, poets, composers, technical staff, and support staff and do everything we can to provide fair compensation for their hard work;

• Host affordable, monthly, two-hour workshops providing dance training and dance-related programming to the National Capital Region community (see our Events page for a list of our upcoming workshops);

• Access a safe and accessible rehearsal space (Ottawa Dance Directive's Studio B and Routhier Community Centre);

• Cover the cost of costumes, sets, production, and lighting for our stage productions;
