On Home Installation 

On Home is a pop-up improvisational interactive performance guided by the Voices Dance Project's dancers in collaboration with Ottawa-based musician, composer, producer, and educator Jack Hui Litster.

On Home challenges the traditional approach to presenting dance works  by bringing the audience into the creative process, inviting them to partake in the artistic exploration of the questions:  “What is home?”, “What makes home?", "How does one cope with home being unsafe?" and “What does it mean to leave home?" Audience members are welcome to come and go, join in the dance, interact with the dancers, and write down reflections, prompts, or sketches about home, connection and displacement. These contributions will inspire the music and movement the audience will see throughout the evening.

About Pique

Pique is a forward-thinking, artist-driven quarterly event series featuring eclectic musical, visual and multimedia artists, produced by Debaser.  Pique takes place four times per year at the Arts Court (67 Nicholas St, Ottawa). 

Pique festival uncovers groundbreaking music and art at its fall edition, featuring live music, art installations, DJs, and artist talks.

Ottawa Dance Directive is a contemporary arts space for dance. ODD programs dance to nourish its resident artists and the local community while stimulating growth beyond its borders. The organization is founded upon a hybrid structure to support a holistic vision of lasting development;
