The Voices Dance Project dancers appeared as guest performers for the Ottawa Dance Collective year-end showcase: Rebooted and Reimagined! This performance celebrated the ODC's 19th season and its reemergence from the turmoil of the pandemic.

About the Ottawa Dance Collective

The Ottawa Dance Collective (ODC) is a recreational dance company comprised of adults of all ages with a passion for dance.  ODC's members have a range of dance experience and backgrounds, which allows them to learn from one another and work in a variety of dance genres.  ODC is inclusive to committed dancers of all levels who are looking to explore their creativity and enthusiasm for dance and performance.  Dancers meet once a week to create, teach, and learn choreographed routines (created by members of the group) in dance styles that include: Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, and Musical Theatre.

ODC was founded in 2005 under the name Ottawa Dance Fusion (ODF).  It was established because at that time there were few avenues for adults to dance recreationally and none that allowed for the creative freedom of choreographing their own dances.  ODF performed at community events throughout the year (such as Carnival of Cultures, Salsapalooza, and Tulip Festival to name a few) with the goal of raising funds for local charities.  In 2015, ODF evolved into ODC, a name that better reflected the artistic direction of the group.  ODC offers the combination of affordable dance instruction within an inviting and fun environment, the creative freedom of choreographing your own work, community performances, and the mission of supporting local charities
