The Voices Dance Project dancers appeared as guest performers for the Ottawa Pops Orchestra's top-secret season closer. Voices' dancers delighted the audience with a surprise fosse-inspired number and closed the evening with a disco dance party extravaganza.

About the Ottawa Pops Orchestra

The Ottawa Pops Orchestra is a semi-professional community orchestra dedicated to performing accessible and relevant music. The “Pops” in their name is short for “popular,” since a lot of the music that they play is sourced from current popular culture. They are passionate storytellers, and the orchestral experience that they strive to create is one full of once-upon-a-times, fairy-tale soundscapes, and galaxies far, far away. Even so, they always keep one foot in the world of classical music, celebrating its traditions, its rich history, and especially its romance. 

The Ottawa Pops Orchestra was founded by Mathieu Roy in 2012 as a University of Ottawa student club, with only a handful of eager musicians. They have since become a non-profit organization and are proud to play with over 60 musicians.
